Rev. Crystal R. Staples
Rev. Crystal R. Staples is a native of Detroit Michigan. Although not raised to follow any particular denomination, she believes in hind sight that God protected her from the woes of the inter-city by allowing her to find refuge in the neighborhood churches. If the doors were open, she was there. Her regular attendance in the local Sunday and Vacation Bible School programs resulted in her accepting Christ as her Lord and Savior and being baptized in the name of the Lord at the age of 12.
Min Staples completed high school with great honors and became a 1988 graduate from University of Detroit with a Bachelors’ degree in Mathematics/Microeconomics. As a Distinguished Military graduate of Senior ROTC program, she was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and went on to lead a distinguished military career retiring after 26 years on Active Duty in 2014. In between time, she earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
Minister Staples has traveled the world; she credits God’s grace and mercy for allowing her the freedom to practice her faith no matter where the Army sent her. As a result she’s known for her very active role throughout the various communities at both Military Installation Chapels and Local Community Church Services. No matter the location, she has been an Educator and Oracle of the Word of God for Adult and Youth bible studies; Sunday school; Children’s Church; Vacation Bible School; Women’s Conferences; AWANA International Children and Youth Bible ministry programs. Her favorite bible verse: Joshua 1:9 and Jerimiah 29: 11; her favorite song: I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.
Minister Staples received her Masters of Divinity in Theological Studies in 2011 at the Chesapeake Bible & Seminary School, Maryland. Since she has been an active member of the Argon Hills Chapel Center Ministry Staff; Protestant Women of the Chapel International Bible Ministries. She recently became a Charter Member/Ministry of the Agape Deliverance Ministries. Affiliations include The Life of Single Mom’s Ministry, Inc.
Minister Staples is married to Leonard B. Staples III; they have four daughters and six grandchildren.
