Yvette Gray
Lady Yvette L. Gray is the devoted and loving wife of the wonderful Rev. Dr. Jeffery L. Gray, a retired United States Marine and Founder & Senior Pastor of Agape Deliverance Ministries in Millersville, Maryland. As a native Washingtonian, she received her primary education in the Prince George’s County Public School System graduating with honors from Northwestern Senior High School. Lady Yvette went on to attend Bowie State University where she studied business administration and later received a Masters Degree in Personnel and Human Resources from American University.
Lady Yvette has worked as a Human Resources Manager in the federal government for more than 20 years. She is a member of several community and professional groups to include: the Junior League of Annapolis, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. For her unwavering dedication to serving and helping others, Lady Yvette has received numerous awards and recognitions. They include being named as one of Maryland Governor’s Outstanding Volunteers; a recipient of the Community Trustee Award from Leadership Anne Arundel; a recipient of the Abe Pollin Community Service Award; a recipient of the Service to Youth Award by the YMCA-A Tribute to Women of Color organization, Sisters Enhancing Sisters Phenomenal Woman Award and in 2014, she was recognized as one of Anne Arundel County’s Outstanding Volunteers.
In addition to her many and varied accomplishments, Lady Yvette has continued her studies at Villanova University earning a certificate in Church administration and is currently pursuing a dual Masters/Doctoral degree in Church Leadership from Regent University.
She is a Godly woman who seeks to lead and guide individuals to reach their utmost potential. Her gift for serving others is evident in through her oversight of the Hospitality Ministry at Agape Deliverance and is one of her greatest assets. In addition, she enjoys baking, reading, listening to music-she has more than 10,000 songs downloaded on her music player and watching movies (her favorites are The Bodyguard and Love & Basketball).
Lady Yvette and Dr. Jeffery currently reside in Millersville, Maryland. They have two sons: Keoni and Markus; and four grandchildren: Jordyn, Myles Jeffery, Christian Blake, and Kash.
Having been called to assist her husband with his God-given mandate, she holds fast to 2 Corinthians 5:7, “Walk by Faith, not by Sight” which she says requires her to go to places she does not know, but she trusts that God will reveal as them as she walks in his obedience.
